Work Experience

  • Soon after completing my DM Neurology from the prestigious National Institute of Medical Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS) Bangalore,I joined as Sr. Consultant Neurologist at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital - New Delhi India.
  • The Department of Neurology has been recognized by the National Board of Examinations. I have been an examiner in Neurology for the National Board. In July 1996,
  • I joined the Apollo Hospital New Delhi, India as a Senior Consultant Neurologist with a special interest in Stroke Services.This is a 700 bedded multi-speciality hospital, the fourth largest corporate hospital in the world.
  • The Neurology Department is one of the best equipped in the country, comparable to any western facility and includes the X-Knife.The Neuro-radiology Department has the latest 64 slice CT scan and 3T MRI and the latest DSA suite.
  • I have been coordinator of the department for the consecutive 6 years.During this period I have been instrumental to set up a world class stroke service programme and new state of art Stroke ICU & Neuro-rehabilitation Unit. During my coordinator tenure the department has been recognized by the National Board of Examination.
