Stress increases the production of hormones that worsen acne. Sleep helps reduce stress. 2) Reduce Sugar Intake. Consume a low-sugar diet, which includes more of whole grains, beans and vegetables and less of white pasta, rice, bread and sugar. 3) Drink Plenty of Water.
